Claire Vitto is a Brooklyn based production designer. She holds an M. Arch from UCLA and a BA from USC, where she double majored in American Studies and Film Production.
Selected works include the feature film Ice Cream (currently in post-production), and the short film, Salvation Is Within You, a 1920s period piece and grant recipient of the Russo Brothers Italian American Filmmaker Forum.
Her editorial work includes set design and prop styling featured in Rollacoaster Magazine and Vogue Hong Kong, as well as a social campaign for A24’s The Smashing Machine.
In order to pay for her education, Claire worked for a time as a commercial real estate developer, where she led adaptive reuse projects. That experience - managing budgets, timelines, and interdisciplinary teams - has proven to be a great foundation in her work as a designer.
